Did you know that the highest trainstation in Europe is in Switzerland? For me, that was kind of surprising! Switzerland is known for there amazing chocolate, fondue, and mountains! Staying in Grindelwald, the gondola is easy access to Grindelwald First (pronounced Fe-ir-st), its an amazing mountain with tons of activity's for kids such as the First flyer, a zip Line from the top of the mountain to the second level, going around 80 kl an hour! Then, the First Glider, a hanglider on a line, that pulls you up backwards, and shoots you forwards during the hail and snow that burns your skin in the cold weather. I ended up doing it, and chucks of ice and hail ran into my face and hands leaving it frozen. Maybe that was why the line was super short! Then, you can take a mountain bike down the mountain, and if you are still into riding bike looking things down the mountain, you can take the trolly bike, that takes you all the way down to the village, and on the way, there are tons of grassy fields with cows in them. Its a great way to get all the way down the mountain easily, with barley any hills and lot of downhills!
But all of that wasn't even close to the biggest mountain, Jungfraujoch. First, you have to make sure the weather is clear, because most of the time, its all Rainy and cloudy, but if you have a day with a little bit of sunshine, that's the best time to go! you have to go up a fifteen minute gondola, to get on a 30 minute train! Then at the top, you can walk on glaciers, go to sightseeing spots, and get delicious Lindt chocolate! With all the things to do at the top, we stopped and got mini donuts at a place near the train that takes you back to Grindelwald.
We had a connecting train to Grindelwald, and almost left our tickets on the train. We got home safely, and going to the top of Europe was a crazy experience that you should definitely see if you happen to ever be in Switzerland!

That's quite the adventure, so proud of you for going on the zipline. Hope you got some hot chocolate after that super cold ride. ❄️
Amazing you can go to Switzerland. Looks and sounds fun, and cold. Wish I could go there.
Ainsley - wow! It sounds like the adventure has a prerequisite: courage! How did you walk on glaciers?!
🍫
Ainsley, I love your stories about the Swiss Alps. You were quite brave to zipline down Grindewald First (remember how the adult next to you kept saying how fast and scary it would be?)and then bike down the mountain. Also, you seemed to handle the thin air at 11,700 feet better than the adults. You must have strong lungs.
